2026 PLAYOFFS !!

Playoff reminders:

         - GAMES CANNOT BE MOVED FOR ANY REASON OTHER THAN INCLEMENT WEATHER!

      -Each team pays the umpire 40.00 before the game at the field, for the quarterfinals & semifinals.

     - There will be TWO umpires for all Finals, so each team will pay 80.00. 

     - SSSL will assign FINALS Umpires.

     - HOME team provides two new Raised Stitch Game balls

       If a playoff game is rained out it is played the next night. 

       If a FINAL is rained out, the two teams can play on a mutually agreed upon day/time

     If for any reason a town does not have an available field for a Home game for a playoff game, the game will be played at the away town’s field, with the H/A staying the same. The game can NOT be rescheduled for this reason.

      -Playoff games will begin at 5:30pm to allow for additional daylight to insure game is completed. (games can be played under lights if available, and if both teams agree).

      - Players participating in SSSL playoffs must be on a team’s roster and must have played in 50% of regular season games their team played (unless a confirmed medical issue, approved by the SSSL e-board, prevents this).   

       -Any team that uses a player (or players) in the playoffs that is not eligible will forfeit said playoff game(s). 
     -Individual Trophies will awarded to Finalists and Runner-ups.
      -Winning team will e-mail in the Game Score immediately after the game.

The SSSL is proud to award Scholarships to outgoing SSSL players each year. Application and More Info can be found in the "Scholarship Application" Tab above

2025 SSSL Scholarship Info:

• The SSSL is proud to award Scholarships to outgoing SSSL players each year.
• The SSSL will be awarding two (2) 750.00 scholarships to current or former softball players that have participated in a minimum of four (4) seasons in the SSSL.
• Deadline: This application form, with essay, must be received no later than August 8, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted.
• The application, with more info, can be downloaded below.

• Any questions may be sent to Scott or the e-board as well.

Teams will be filled in as seeds are secured.

The SSSL's "Playing Up" Policy when calling younger players up to fill-in when short-handed:

SCORE REPORTING:

1-WINNING team only will e-mail game scores to their respective Division Directors as soon as possible the night after the game.

 

2- 10U & 18U will submit scores by replying to their respective Division Game Result E-mail only.
